A fatal car crash that has taken the life of one man in Lower Greenwich, New Brunswick, is being investigated by the Southeast District RCMP.

According to a report from the RCMP, police responded to a car crash shortly before 6:30 a.m. Sunday on Route 102.

Mounties believe the 19-year-old Saint John man was driving south when he lost control of his car, leaving the highway and striking a culvert.

The victim was ejected from the vehicle and taken to the hospital where he died on Monday, due to injuries resulting from the crash.

.He was the only person in the vehicle and was not wearing a seat belt.

The investigation into the crash continues and the name of the victim is being withheld from the public at this time.
