79-Year-Old Man Died at the Scene after Crash in Maine
A 79-year-old man died Wednesday after a crash on Route 1 in Milbridge.
Died at the Scene
Clyde Samuelson Jr. of Columbia, Maine was pronounced dead at the scene after First Responders extricated him from his vehicle.
Single-Vehicle Crash
The Maine State Police said his Ford pickup truck went off the road and crashed into a ditch. Samuelson was the only one in the vehicle.
Ongoing Investigation
Traffic in the area was not affected. The crash is under investigation, said the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Law Enforcement
Assisting Troopers on the scene was the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Milbridge Fire Department.
