40 Fugitives Wanted for Violent Crimes in Maine Arrested
U.S. Marshals and local Maine police apprehended 40 fugitives wanted for violent crimes involving sex trafficking, human trafficking, drug trafficking and weapons charges.
40 Fugitives with ties to Maine Apprehended
U.S. Marshals in Maine and Lewiston and Biddeford Police Departments arrested the 40 fugitives after a month-long initiative called “Operation Triple Beam,” said Ryan Guay, Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal, District of Maine.

“Operation Triple Beam (OTB) is a national U.S. Marshals Service-led collaborative initiative that partners federal, state, and local law enforcement to focus on specific areas impacted by violent crime,” said Guay.
Law Enforcement Involved in Arrests
The USMS, Maine Violent Offender Task Force was assisted by the Lewiston and Biddeford Police Departments with additional assistance by Auburn and Saco Police Departments, York and Waldo County Sheriff’s Office and the USMS District of Massachusetts Fugitive Task Force.
