
Man Arrested as Fugitive from Justice after Shooting in Maine
A 40-year-old fugitive from justice was arrested and faces firearms charges in Lewiston.
Fugitive From Justice and Firearms Charges
Terrell Humphrey was taken into custody on March 27 and charged with reckless conduct with a firearm, fugitive from justice and possession of firearm by prohibited person.
Video Footage Used to ID Shooter
The Lewiston Police Department used surveillance footage to identify him as the shooter in a March 14 incident on Ash and Howe Street. Officers also tracked his movement using the video.
Evading Arrest Warrant
Humphrey was apprehended on March 28. He was in Maine evading an extraditable arrest warrant from Pennsylvania, said Lewiston PD.
Facing Extradition
He was transported to the Androscoggin County Jail for extradition. The investigation is ongoing.
