14-Year-Old Male & 30-Year-Old Woman Hit by Vehicles in Maine
A 14-year-old male and a 30-year-old woman were injured Tuesday morning in Portland after being hit by vehicles in separate crashes.
Teen Hit Riding his Bike
The 14-year-old was hit by a car while riding his bicycle on Evans Street around 7 am. He was taken to the hospital with injuries.
Police Issued Citation to Driver
Police gave the driver a citation for failure to yield, said WGME News.
Woman Hit in the Crosswalk
A woman was also hit by a vehicle on Maine Mall Road around 11 am. Officials said she was in a crosswalk crossing the street. She had minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
Driver Cited for Accident
Police gave the driver a citation for failure to yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk.
