
Man Died & Three Men Critically Injured after Crash in Maine
One man died Saturday and three men were seriously injured after a collision in Winthrop.
Driving 123 MPH
The Winthrop Police Department said 21-year-old John Stratton was driving 123 mph on Route 202 when officers started the pursuit.
Two-Vehicle Crash
The car crashed with a truck driven by 76-year-old Steven Greene as he was making a turn.
Ejected from Truck and Died
Greene was ejected from his truck and died at the scene, said WGME News.
Three in Critical Condition
Stratton and two passengers, 51-year-old Jason Kirshman and 44-year-old Nathaniel Stratton, were seriously injured. All three were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Third Vehicle Hit
Another vehicle was also hit by Greene’s truck. No one was injured in that vehicle. Police are investigating the incident.
