Maine Police Looking For Stolen Burial Urns in Hollis

The Maine State Police are seeking assistance from the public in locating two antique urns that were stolen from a residence on Route 202 in Hollis.

The urns are black cast-iron and were stolen sometime between the hours of 11:30 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. August 4th through 5th.

Investigators say the urns have a high sentimental value to the owners, as they still contain the ashes of deceased relatives.

Maine State Police are looking for the public’s help so they can be returned to the rightful owner. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Adam Schmidt of Troop A at 207-657-3030.
