UPDATE MONDAY, AUGUST 1: 

Investigators received information that the suspect, Daniel Thompson, 19, of Otisfield, , was the man in the picture and was camping in the woods off of the South Tamworth Rd. in Otisfield.  Troopers also learned that Thompson might be aggressive towards law enforcement. Police from Troop B and a State Police K-9 team entered the woods and located the stolen vehicle and found Thompson in a tent. He was arrested without incident and transported to the York County Jail where he was charged with felony Theft. He is being held on $2,000 cash bail. 

ORIGINAL STORY:

Maine State Police are looking to identify a man seen in a surveillance photo in connection with a stolen pickup. Police received a report of a vehicle stolen from 34 Waterboro Road in Hollis between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. Friday, July 29.

Investigators are searching for a white 2002 GMC extended cab pickup bearing Maine license plate 6817VA. Police say the truck was unlocked and the keys were left in the ignition.

Trooper Kyle Wells says the male suspect drove the vehicle to the Hollis Lil Mart, put fuel in the truck, went inside to purchase an item, and left. He was last known headed towards Limington on Route 117.
