Work on Otter Brook Bridge, Caribou, Maine

Work on Otter Brook Bridge in Caribou starts June 29 and continues through September 7.

The Maine Department of Transportation said it is replacing an old metal culvert with a new precast concrete box.

The bridge is on Route 1 (Van Buren Road) and travels over Otter Brook.

Expect single-lane traffic as work is being done. Seek alternate routes if possible and slowdown in construction zones.
