Here’s Where You Can Still Catch a Drive-in Movie in Maine
While we have traditional movie theaters all across our Pine Tree State, if you want to catch a classic drive-in movie, here’s where you can!
There’s something awesome about watching a movie from your own car—you’ve got privacy, you can bring your own snacks, talk as much as you want, and basically make your own rules.
Alright, now that that’s out of the way—where in Vacationland can we drive in to, well, a drive-in and watch a movie or two from the comfort of our vehicles?
Bridgton Twin Drive-In:
The Bridgton Twin Drive-In, located between the towns of Naples and Bridgton, offers a nostalgic double-feature experience across its two screens. Its scenic setting makes it a beloved summer stop in western Maine.
Prides Corner Drive-In:
Prides Corner Drive-In in Westbrook is the largest drive-in theater in Maine and has been showing films since 1953. Its size and long-running history make it a true local icon.
Skylite Drive-In:
The Skylite Drive-In in Madawaska opened in 1973 and holds the title of Maine’s newest drive-in. It keeps the tradition alive in one of the northernmost corners of the state.
The Saco Drive-In:
The Saco Drive-In, first opened in 1939, is one of the oldest operating drive-ins in the entire country.

And there you have it! If you’re looking to catch a drive-in movie in Maine this summer, you’ve got four spots scattered across the state to check out.
