Walgreens Closing 1,200 Underperforming Stores
Walgreens said it’s closing 1,200 stores over the next three years with 500 of those closures to happen this fiscal year.

The company plans to improve business, support adjusted earnings and free up cash flow, according to the Associated Press.

The company currently has 8,500 stores nationwide. They also have several thousand stores overseas. The closures will all be in the United States.
