Vehicle Seized in Fatal Hit and Run in Eastern New Brunswick
The Richibucto RCMP has seized a vehicle as part of its investigation into a fatal hit-and-run Saturday night in Saint-Charles, New Brunswick.
Mounties responded to a report of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on St-Charles Sud Road around 9:30 p.m. Police say a 22-year-old man was waiting on the side of the road for a ride home when a vehicle struck him and drove off.The victim died at the scene. An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the crash site.
On Sunday, police seized a vehicle as part of the investigation. The RCMP is continuing to investigate to determine if it was the vehicle involved in the hit and run.
