USPS Has Raised Mailing Prices Once Again
If you’re looking to send mail through the Postal Service, it will cost a little more now than it did last week.

The U.S. Postal Service raised the price of a first-class Forever stamp from 78 cents to 82 cents on Sunday, July 12th, as it works to address mounting financial losses.
The agency has increased the price of a Forever stamp six times over the past five years, up from 58 cents in 2021.

Despite the latest increase, mailing prices remain among the most affordable in the world, according to a Postal Service spokesperson.
The agency reported a $9 billion loss in fiscal 2025 as it continued to face rising costs, declining mail volume and concerns about its finances and delivery performance.
