Fire investigators say the fire started in the living room near the couch, but the exact cause can not be determined. The report goes on to say that eight other adults were in the house at the time of the fire.
It appears the group has been drinking before the fire started. Most of the adults were smoking before they went to bed. There were no smoke detectors in the house. The State Medical Examiner's Office said the bodies were identified as Mark Beaton and his brother Paul Beaton. Both men died of smoke inhalation.
