Bangor Parks & Rec Touch a Truck & Treat is Thursday
If you attend one ‘out of neighborhood’ Halloween events this year, here is a good suggestion.
Based on last year’s attendance, Bangor Parks and Rec’s Touch a Truck and Treat event will be a stone-cold smash.
Remember the song Monster Mash? It was a graveyard smash.
It’s free and it is Thursday the 26th and held at the Cross Insurance Center Parking Lot A, directly behind the arena. The hours are 6 to 7:30 p.m.
More than a dozen local companies will have vehicles at the event, each one decorated for Halloween, and everyone will have plenty of candy.
The event is open to all ages and is a chance to have some fun. Dress in your costume and take lots of photos.
Here are some of the participants:
- Bangor Public Health
- Bangor International Airport
- Union Street Towing
- Versant Power
- Bangor Police Department
- Bangor Public Works
- Hollywood Casino,
- Dead River
- Black Bear Crane
- Cross Insurance Center
- Casella Waste Management
- The U.S. Marines
And more.
And if your company wants to participate, reach out to Zach.napsey@bangormaine.gov
Zach says:
All are welcome at this exciting event. Come dressed in your costume, play games, make memories have fun and of course grab lots of candy.
City of Bangor Parks and Recreation Assistant Director Debbie Gendreau says:
Boo.
Debbie, that is spooktacular.
Get there early, last year about two thousand people attended the event, and you don’t want to miss a truck. Or the treats.
Debbie gets the last word:
