Three Men Arrested in St. John Plantation
Maine State police arrested three men on numerous charges Tuesday evening after executing a search warrant in St. John Plantation, just west of Fort Kent.
Police say Trooper Matt Curtin was investigating the whereabouts of a wanted St. John man when he received information Tuesday that the man was staying at the American Dream apartment complex.
State Troopers, Wardens, a Sheriff's Deputy and a U.S. Border Patrol agent executed the search warrant at approximately 7 p.m. Police arrested 36-year-old Jason Faggiole on two outstanding warrants in connection with a prior theft and domestic violence assault.
While inside the apartment, police also arrested 20-year-old Corey Raymond of Fort Kent on eight outstanding warrants. Warrants against Raymond related to theft, violation of conditional release, and multiple charges of possession of scheduled drugs. Jason Faggiole and Corey Raymond were both transported to the Aroostook County Jail.
Additionally, State Police arrested 45-year old Jonathon Faggiole of St. John and charged him with Hindering Apprehension for his role in harboring the fugitives. Faggiole was transported to Fort Kent Police Department where he posted bail. He is scheduled to appear in Fort Kent District Court on April 1.
