Thousands of Dollars Worth of Items Stolen in Maine
Several juveniles and adults were arrested Wednesday after stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a retail shop on Main Street in Rockland.

The Rockland Police Department said officers recovered the stolen property at an apartment and arrested two juveniles.
Juveniles Charged after Burglary in Maine
One juvenile was charged with felony burglary and the other one faces charges for possession of stolen property. One of the juveniles was also already on a set of juvenile probation conditions.
Adult Escaped Using Rope Made from Bed Sheets
Rockland PD said “while law enforcement officers were at the home, an adult fled out the second story, using a makeshift, bed sheet/blanket rope. The individual was identified and later questioned by law enforcement, that resulted in a second adult in the home being arrested on the charge of violation of conditions of release and booked into the Knox County Jail.”
Juveniles Summonsed and Released
Rockland police also said “the two arrested juveniles were summonsed and released to guardians due to laws and/or juvenile department of corrections policies not allowing for incarceration.”
Third Juvenile Facing Trespassing Charges
A third juvenile was facing charges for trespassing. The investigation remains open and more charges are possible.
