This Maine Town is Installing Gigabit High-Speed Internet For All Residents!

The 560 residents of the little town of Islesboro are about to get a major speed boost. The town residents voted last year to spend more than $3 million on a major high-speed gigabit internet upgrade.

This new upgrade will make Islesboro Maine’s first gigabit island, offering lightning-fast internet speeds.

The total cost of the boost will be around $360 per family, but that probably won’t be an issue. Islesboro is home to names like John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Kirstie Alley, and Chris O’Donnell.
