Maine State Police – Troop F’s weekly incident report…

08/19 – Sgt. Fuller and Tr. Sylvia assisted MDEA with a Meth Lab in Houlton.

08/20 - Tr. Monahan responded to residence in Hammond for a missing 3 year old. Upon her arrival, it was discovered the child had returned, he had left the house and was playing in woods close by.

08/20 - Troopers Clark and Quint responded to a complaint in Westfield where a man reported that three men assaulted him and stole things from his house. Tr. Clark was able to determine the identity of the three men and located them later that night. After interviewing all three men, he determined that only two of them were involved with the assault and the items taken belonged to the mother of one of the men. The mother left the residence that weekend and sent her son back to retrieve her belongings. When her son arrived at the residence the victim started to “run his mouth” so he got punched, knocking him out. Two of the men were arrested and taken to the county jail.

08/22 - Troopers Flynn and Michaud responded to Mars Hill for a family fight. The female reported she was strangled by her boyfriend and both were intoxicated. The 32 year old male was arrested and transported to the Aroostook County Jail.

08/22 - Tr. Flynn was called to the Robinson Rd in Blaine to deal with a family dispute between a father, daughter and daughter’s boyfriend. The 21 year old boyfriend was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

08/23 - Tr. Marquis received a report of a stolen generator in New Canada. The generator was taken within the past couple days. The investigation is ongoing.

08/23 - Tr. Casavant received a report of a missing utility trailer in Cyr Plantation. The owner was unsure if it was stolen or possibly borrowed without his knowledge. The investigation is ongoing.

08/24 - Tr. Flynn received a harassment complaint on in Mars Hill. A homeless female from Bangor reported she was receiving harassing text messages from a Mars Hill man. Troop E assisted by viewing the text messages and getting a statement from the victim. Tr. Flynn issued a harassment notice to the Mars Hill man.

08/24 - Tr. Flynn responded to TAMC for a report of a 15 year old female who had been brought in by her mother for alcohol poisoning and also reported she was sexually assaulted by an adult male. The incident occurred the previous night at a party at Cross Lake when she passed out due to alcohol consumption. MCU Detective Stoutamyer responded to take the lead on the sexual assault and Tr. Flynn accompanied him on several interviews to make a case for the alcohol violations.

08/24 - Troopers Flynn, Casavant and Levesque along with Sergeants Harris and Haines assisted Fort Fairfield PD with a 34 year old mentally disturbed man who showed up at a residence displaying a long rifle and carrying a pellet handgun. Earlier in the day the man had been at Cary Medical Center with the firearm, knives and brass knuckles and Caribou PD was looking for him related to that incident. The man was on bail and also a felon so new charges are pending by one or both agencies. The Maine Warden Service and their K-9 as well as Border Patrol also assisted with the search.
