Teams from around the world converged in the village of Plaster Rock, New Brunswick Thursday for the opening of the 14th Annual World Pond Hockey Championship.
The population of Plaster Rock, New Brunswick is expected to triple this week as teams from around the world descend on the village for the 13th Annual World Pond Hockey Championship.
There will be an informational meeting at 4:30 this afternoon at the Lions Club in Plaster Rock for residents of Wapske, New Brunswick who were evacuated due to this week's train derailment. This meeting is for evacuees only.
