This video of a likely meteor seen Tuesday night comes courtesy of the National Weather Service security camera in Gray, Maine.

Widespread reports of a large fiery object streaking across the sky early Tuesday left many people in New Brunswick and neighboring provinces puzzled.

A meteor streaked across the sky in Central Russia this morning, causing sharp explosions that blew the glass out of buildings and injured more than 520 people, including 82 children.  The BBC reports at least 11 people required hospitalization.
