Spring Week Seven Athlete of the Week voting is open, with boys and girls ballots featuring state track champions, state placers and diamond standouts.

Fort Fairfield, Houlton/GHCA and Fort Kent athletes earned top-eight finishes at the Class C State Track and Field Meet.

Fort Fairfield swept Madawaska on the diamond, Presque Isle swept Houlton/GHCA on the tennis courts, and Caribou moved to 7-0 in both boys and girls tennis on Monday, May 12.

Presque Isle swept the girls and boys team titles at the PVC Week Two Track Meet, with Caribou finishing second in both standings.

Greater Houlton Track & Field collected a record 783 pounds of waste during its fourth annual Trash Olympics community cleanup event.

Four County track and field standouts are nominated for Spring Week One Athlete of the Week. Vote now before Thursday at 1 p.m.

Caribou and Houlton/GHCA turned in a long list of top-10 finishes Wednesday at Brewer Meet #1, with several County athletes landing event wins.

We’re excited to announce Amelia Matwyko of Houlton GHCA as our Spring Week Two Athlete of the Week! Amelia delivered an incredible performance—collecting five hits, driving in seven runs, and leading GHCA to two big wins on the mound. This well-deserved recognition places her alongside Olivia Edgecomb of Presque Isle as a standout of the spring season. Voting took place from May 12 through May 15, and the community made their voices heard.

The gospel group began in 2003 and has been billed as one of the most popular and beloved gospel quartets in all of gospel music.

The Greater Houlton Christian Academy has received a gift of $220,000. This is the largest gift GHCA has received in its entire 29 year history.
