Blood Drive

Cary Medical Center is continuing its long tradition of partnering with the American Red Cross in hosting six blood drives this year.

According to the National Trauma Institute, trauma accounts for approximately 41 million emergency department visits and 2 million hospital admissions each year.

Weather and holidays played a part in low numbers of blood donors this early winter.

It is the season of giving, and there is no better gift than the gift of life!

The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Red Cross Club will host the campus’ annual fall blood drive.

In conjunction with the American Red Cross, the University of Maine at Presque Isle will host its Super Blood Drive today!

The Red Cross has an urgent need for donors! Blood donations decline from Thanksgiving to New Years Day as people are busy with holiday activities.

The University of Maine at Presque Isle will hold its annual American Red Cross fall blood drive on Friday, Oct. 21. The drive will run from Noon until 5 p.m. in the Campus Center’s Multi-Purpose Room.

Cary Medical Center will be holding an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, August 22, from 12 noon to 6 pm, at the Caribou Inn & Convention Center.

The American Red Cross is conducting summer blood drives at 3 sites in Aroostook County from June 27th - June 30th.
