Maine Police Seize More Drugs From Scene of September Bust
Police returned to the scene of a September drug bust in Solon and made four arrests, seizing more illegal drugs.
This Was Cory Miller's Second Drug-Related Arrest At His Home Since September
Four people were arrested at the home of Cory Miller on November 7th:
- Cory Miller 37, is charged with 2 counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, and violation of conditions of release. At the time of his arrest, Miller was out on bail, relating to a September 13, 2024 drug search warrant at the same residence. In September, he was charged with 2 counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs.
- Devan Craig, 35, of Worcester, Massachusetts is charged with 3 counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
- Zahkari Bennett, 22, of Manhatten, New York is charged with 2 counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs.
- Brittany Barton, 39, of Damariscotta is charged with possession of scheduled drugs and violation of conditions of release. At the time of her arrest, Barton was out on bail for an unrelated criminal charge.
The trafficking charges in this case were elevated to aggravated due to the weight of the drugs seized. In the case of Mr. Craig, the presence of a firearm also factored into that elevation.

Drugs Seized in This Search Have An Estimated Street Value of $40K
Somerset County Sheriff's Officials say the charges stem from a drug search warrant executed at Miller's Solon home on the morning of November 7th. The investigation Into illegal drug activity at the address has continued since the execution of a similar warrant on September 13th. As a result of this month's search, officials seized drugs and a firearm:
- 400+ grams of fentanyl
- Crack cocaine
- Crystal meth (methamphetamine)
- A loaded 9mm pistol
- Illicit drug-related documentation
- Illicit drug-related paraphernalia
Officials say the seized drugs have an estimated street value of $40,000.
Two of the Four Solon Suspects Are Being Held Without Bail
All four suspects were taken to the Somerset County Jail. Miller and Barton are being held without bail. Craig and Bennett's bail amounts were set at $100,000 cash, for each of them.
This investigation is ongoing and officials say more charges may be forthcoming.
