Congratulations are in order for Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart. VH1 announced today (Nov. 21) that The Doggfather and Homemaking Empress' new cooking show, Martha and Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party, has been renewed for a second season.

This show renewal announcement comes just three weeks after the original premiere date of the first season. The premiere episode, which featured guest stars Ice Cube, Seth Rogen and Wiz Khalifa, brought in 3 million viewers. Episode two featured Rick Ross and model Ashley Graham and proved to be a hilarious live moment when Rozay tried to lay the mack down on Martha.

"Martha and Snoop are the modern day 'Odd Couple' and the reigning King and Queen of pop culture," said MTV, VH1 and Logo president Chris MccCarthy as the news was announced today. "Wait until you see what happens in season two.”

It was August when it was first reported that Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg would be launching a cooking show together this fall. Though they might seem like an unlikely pair, a look back at Martha's run-ins with hip-hop over the years will show you Stewart has been down for the culture for a while now. And based on Snoop and Martha's on-screen chemistry, they seem to generally be friends.

Catch Season 1 of Potluck Dinner Party every Monday night at 10 p.m. EST on VH1. Tonight's episode, a Thanksgiving special entitled “Ruffling Feathers," is set to feature actress Naya Rivera, basketball player Chris Bosh and 2 Chainz.
