Riverside Inn Restaurant Burglarized and Vandalized

Presque Isle police are investigating after the Riverside Inn Restaurant was burglarized and vandalized sometime late Thursday night or early Friday morning.

It’s not known at this time what was stolen from the Main Street eatery, but both front doors were damaged and the glass in three windows was broken. Portland Glass of Presque Isle had replaced the broken plate glass by 9 a.m. Friday and the business was open as usual.

Officer Lucas Hafford of the Presque Isle Police Department tells our newsroom that there is an open investigation. We’ll have more details as they are made available.
