RCMP Chase Down Saint-Léonard Assault Suspect
Police have arrested a 21-year-old man after a foot chase on rue Principale in Saint-Léonard, New Brunswick.

The RCMP had been on the lookout for Daniel Beaupre of Saint-Léonard after receiving an assault complaint approximately two weeks ago involving a local woman.
Saint-Léonard RCMP sighted the suspect around noon time on Monday, and following a foot chase, took him into custody.
Beaupre appeared in Edmundston Provincial Court on Tuesday and was charged with one count of assault with a weapon. He is being kept in custody until his remand hearing on Thursday.
