According to the Bangor Daily News, 44-year old Brian Seiders, pleaded guilty back in June to the drug conspiracy charge. Seiders was sentenced Monday by Judge John Woodcock in federal court to 37 months. In addition to prison time, Judge Woodcock sentenced Seiders to three years of supervised release.

Seiders and another man, 34-year old Nathan Brewer of Caribou, used and sold bath salts in the Presque Isle/Caribou area, according to the prosecution. Brewer also pleaded guilty to the same charge and is awaiting sentencing.

Seiders is also expected to plead guilty to state charges of drug trafficking in Caribou Superior Court. It's expected he'll serve that sentence at the same time as his federal sentence.
