Police Seek Woman Who Dropped Off Man With Gunshot Wound at Woodstock-Area Hospital
UPDATE: The West District RCMP have located a person of interest after a 23-year-old Woodstock man was dropped off at the Upper River Valley Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police received a call early Tuesday morning that an unidentified woman had dropped the man off at the hospital in Waterville and left at around 1 a.m.
Sgt. Marc Fortin said the woman was driving a dark coloured sedan. She is described as having long dark hair and was wearing a dark blue Hollister hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
The victim remained in hospital in serious condition, Fortin said.
RCMP said on Friday that it has been confirmed that the shooting occurred in Woodstock and the file has been turned over to the Woodstock Police Force.
