Police Looking for St. Stephen, New Brunswick Man After Shots Fired in Apartment Building
St. Stephen RCMP are attempting to locate a 25-year-old St. Stephen man in connection to an incident at an apartment building in that Charlotte County communtiy.
Police responded to a complaint of shots fired in a residence converted into apartments at around noon today (May 19), on Hawthorne Street. No one was injured.
Richard "Rickey" Baxter is a person of interest in connection with the incident. RCMP say they want to speak to him and are concerned for his well-being.
He is described as Caucasian, approximately 5’ 8” tall with brown hair and blue eyes.
Baxter was last seen around 12:30 this afternoon, in the area of Hawthorne Street, Union Street West, and Milltown. He was wearing a flat peak ball cap, a black shirt with a skull head on it, and blue jeans.
St. Stephen Police say he may possibly be carrying a firearm, but note there is no indication he is a threat to the public.
