Police Identified Body Found in Caribou, Maine
The Maine State Police said the body found on the banks of the Aroostook River on Tuesday has been identified as 39-year-old Erik Foote from Washburn.
Cause and Manner of Death Not Released
The cause and manner of death has not yet been released.
Body Found in Caribou
Foote’s body was located on April 23 between the dam and Fore Street around 1 pm.
Local Law Enforcement Investigating
The Maine State Police, the Caribou Police Department and the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office have been investigating.
Autopsy Done to Identify Body
An autopsy was done at the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for identification and to determine the cause and manner of death.
