Fans Launch Petition to Bring Tour to Bangor Waterfront

While we usually wait and hope for concert announcements to come to Bangor, this petition is calling for a specific show.

In February, Breaking Benjamin announced their 2026 North American tour with special guest Chevelle, featuring 30 dates across the country.

The tour kicks off on September 2nd in Camden, New Jersey, and runs through October 24th in Bristow, Virginia. As of now, the only New England stop on the schedule is September 3rd in Bridgeport, Connecticut, at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater.

That leads us to April 19th, when Aaron Baker started a petition on Change.org to bring that specific tour to the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor.

In the petition, Baker points out the bands have a two-day break on September 7th and 8th while traveling between New Jersey and Ontario, calling it the perfect opportunity for a stop at the Maine Savings Amphitheater.

The petition continues by making the case for why Bangor is the perfect stop, pointing to the Maine Savings Amphitheater as a premier outdoor venue that regularly hosts major acts.

Additionally, it says the show could deliver a big boost to local tourism while giving Maine fans a rare chance to see top-tier rock bands. It also highlights the strong fan support in the region, the bands’ history of high-energy, sold-out shows, and the fact that their tour schedule and travel route make a Bangor stop both realistic and potentially a huge success.
