Paving Operations on Main Street in Presque Isle

If you're on the roadways of Presque Isle this week, you may want to take notice. The Maine Department of Transportation has issued a traffic advisory for parts of Main Street.

According to the MDOT, there will be traffic disruption beginning at the compact /urban line extending westerly on Route 10 for 1.15 miles to the intersection of Academy Street and Main Street.

Temporary shoulder and/or travel lane closures are anticipated during daylight hours, Monday through Saturday.

Traffic flow will be maintained during working hours by way of alternating one-way travel through work zones. Work zones will be delineated as necessary with cones, barrels and other traffic control devices and maintained by flaggers and other Contractor personnel.
