One Person Rescued from River and Hospitalized in Maine
One person was sent to the hospital after being rescued from the Kennebunk River on Saturday night.
One Person Hospitalized after Falling in River
The Kennebunk Fire-Rescue said the person went into the river behind Hurricanes Restaurant on Western Avenue.
K-9 Located the Person on the Side of the River
“A KPD K9 was able to track the persons’ scent which led to locating them on the Kennebunk side of the river.”
Transported to the Hospital
The person was evaluated on the scene and taken to a local hospital for medical attention.
Assisting First Responders
Providing mutual aid was the Maine Marine patrol, Maine Wardens Service, Kennebunkport Police Department and the Kennebunk Police Department.
