Julian Edelman Spotted at Federal Jack's in Kennebunk, Maine

If you were in Kennebunk on Friday, June 26, you might have seen Julian Edelman.

The former New England Patriots wide receiver was in Maine just a few days after competing in the Travelers Championship 15 ½ Challenge in Connecticut.

Not only did Edelman stop in at Federal Jack's, but he also spent a few moments taking pictures with fans during his visit to the area.

Federal Jack's shared on its Facebook page a big group photo taken with Edelman, who was decked out in an olive green jacket and a matching colored Boston Red Sox cap. New England represent.

According to its website, Feds opened back in 1992 as one of Maine's first brew pubs, the original home of the Kennebunkport Brewing Company, and the birthplace of Shipyard Brewing Company.

Its drinks menu has numerous options, including a variety of draft beers brewed on site daily at the Kennebunkport Brewing Co.

The restaurant and brew pub didn't share what he ate or drank, but we can certainly imagine. Maybe a lobster roll with some Shipyard?

Edelman even snapped some photos with fans out and about as well.

The Kennebunk stop wasn't Edelman's first visit to Maine.

In fact, the superstar football player dined at Evenrood's in Bangor in 2018, not long after the Patriots' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII.

The Bangor Daily News reported that Edelman said the halibut was delicious, and then, sure enough, Edelman came back the following season and won Super Bowl MVP. Coincidence?

Maybe Maine seafood is the secret weapon.

Edelman may no longer be suiting up for the Patriots, but he is still very much a New Englander at heart.
