After spotting the Washington Wizards a 16-0 lead and after Isaiah Thomas lost a tooth in a collision, the Boston Celtics recovered for a 123-111 win in game one of the NBA Playoffs. Get ready for game two Tuesday night again at Boston Garden.

Talk about your storylines...Isaiah Thomas attended his sister's funeral in Tacoma, Washington Saturday, got back to Boston at 4am Sunday morning, lost a tooth in the first half and scored 33 points in the win. Thomas added nine assists.

But it wasn't just Thomas helping to dig the C's out of the early hole. Al Horford almost had a triple-double (21 points, 10 assists, 9 rebounds). Jae Crowder scored 24 and Avery Bradley had 18.

The Celtics were 19-of-39 (49%) shooting three-pointers.

John Wall and Bradley Beal combined to score 47 points to lead Washington.
