
One Man Shot Twice and Injured & One Man Arrested in Maine
A 44-year-old man was shot twice and seriously injured and a 40-year-old man was arrested in Cornish on Tuesday afternoon.
One Man Shot in Parking Lot and Another Man Arrested
The Maine State Police said Eric Letendre from West Baldwin was found shot in the parking lot of Fairgrounds Pizza and Pub restaurant at 156 Maple Street around 2:30 pm.
Troopers Rendered Aid to Shooting Victim
“Troopers at the scene rendered aid, applying a tourniquet while waiting for rescue to arrive,” said Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, Maine Department of Public Safety.
Flown by LifeFlight to Hospital
Letendre was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland by LifeFlight of Maine.
Firearm Arrest and Charges
Sean Ambrose from Canterbury, New Hampshire was arrested and charged with Reckless Conduct with a Firearm. He was taken to the York County Jail.
Victim and Suspect Knew Each Other
“Letendre and Ambrose were known to each other. The investigation is ongoing,” said Moss.
