32-year-old Bo Branscombe from Oakfield was arrested Monday and charged with receiving stolen property, and two counts of aggravated unlawful trafficking in schedule drugs.

Aroostook County Deputies obtained a search warrant Monday for a residence on Norman Street in Oakfield. The warrant related to a reported a burglary June 29th in Smyrna where multiple power tools and other items were stolen, valuing approximately $4,000.

During the search, Deputies located numerous stolen items from the burglary in Smyrna. In addition - while searching the residence for the stolen tools - Deputies located what was believed to be heroin and methamphetamine inside the residence.

A second search warrant was obtained and the narcotics were seized by Deputies.  A total of 11 grams of heroin with fentanyl, 1.2 grams of methamphetamine, and numerous other illicit prescription drugs were among those seized.

Branscombe was transported to the Aroostook County Jail where his bail was set at $10,000 cash.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.  Deputy Sheriff Ryan Johnston is the primary investigator in this case.
