Police are investigating how a 14-year- old boy ended up injured and unconscious on a roadway in Corinth, Maine in the middle of the night.

People in several communities in New Brunswick, east of Oromocto, are assessing the damage after they say a tornado pushed vehicles and destroyed  buildings Saturday night.

Severe Thunderstorms over the weekend led to about 17,000 homes and businesses in Maine losing power.  At least two serious injuries were reported.

Environmental officials are holding a public hearing this evening on a proposal to build what would be the largest wind farm in Maine about 25 miles north of Skowhegan.

Bangor has been chosen as the host city for the 2014 Maine Republican Convention.

The cost of a gallon of gas in Maine continues to skyrocket, jumping more than seven cents in the past week.

Contractors are preparing today to begin removing the 830-foot long Veazie Dam on Maine's Penobscot River.
