The RCMP is investigating after human remains were found this week in a wooded area near Edmundston, New Brunswick.

A New Hampshire man has been charged with trying to kidnap a 2-year-old boy at a park-and-ride along the Interstate in Southern Maine.

The State Senate has voted to strengthen the Kid-Safe Product Act.  A new bill requires manufacturers or distributors to notify the state when products containing certain chemicals are being sold in Maine.

Fitness instructor Alexis Wright will be sentenced in York County Superior Court today. The 30-year- old Wright has pleaded guilty to running a prostitution business from her Kennebunk dance studio.

New Brunswick drivers are getting a bit of a break at the gas pumps this week as prices were lowered to a maximum of 1.27 per liter.

The Aroostook County Relay for Life kicks off this evening at Caribou High School. Over 800 people expected to participate in the all-night event to remember loved ones lost and honor cancer survivors.
