Police closed U.S. Route 164 between Washburn to Presque Isle today.  Officers from several agencies reportedly responded to a domestic situation in the village of Crouseville in the early hours this morning.

The US Coast Guard says two tugboats have pulled an oil tanker away from the bridge that links Maine to New Hampshire after the tanker broke loose from the pier yesterday afternoon and hit the bridge.

A fire in Perth-Andover on Good Friday destroyed a home that was over a century old.   The owner escaped with just the clothes on his back.

New Brunswick’s River Watch is advising people near flood-prone areas to keep an eye on river levels.
