
New Year’s Baby Born at Cary Medical Center in Caribou
It was an exciting day for one family at a Caribou hospital on New Year's Day! A couple from Frenchville welcomed their daughter in to the world at Cary Medical Center!
This is the second year in a row that the first New Year’s Baby in Aroostook County has been born at Cary Medical Center.
And, in 2014, it was the third year in a row over 200 babies have been born at Cary Medical Center.
The Baby is: Lydia Rae Doughty
Born at 7:48 a.m. on January 1st, 2015
Weight: 7 lb. 11 oz;
20” long
Congratulations to Parents Amy Lagasse and Ray Doughty of Frenchville.
The Nurse with Lydia is Susan Miller, LPN, of the Maternal/Child Unit at Cary Medical Center.
The Provider who delivered Lydia is Kim Martin, CNM (Certified Nurse Midwife) of the Pines Women’s and Children’s Health Center on the Cary Campus.
