New Flying Club in Presque Isle

A new Flying club has been started at the Northern Maine Regional Airport in Presque Isle.

The non-profit organization is called the Aroostook Aero Club, located at 995 Missile Street, Presque Isle Maine. This is the only flying club in the County and They are looking for new members. If you have been interested in learning to fly, this may the just what you have been looking for. Or if you are a licensed pilot without a plane, this may get you back into the air. Attend their open house Saturday October 18th beginning at 10 a.m.to see what the club and becoming a pilot is all about. There will be a Hamburger and Hotdog BBQ for donations, 50-50 raffle and a free FAA Wings Safety Seminar which starts at 1:00 pm.
