Prices at the pumps in Maine and New Hampshire held steady this past week, while Vermont's price per gallon fell slightly.

Even though Vermont's gas prices declined somewhat, they were still higher than that of Maine and neighboring New Hampshire.

According to GasBuddy.com, Maine's gas prices remained unchanged from last week's average price of $2.54 a gallon. In Presque Isle as of Tuesday morning, most pump prices were the same as last week, $2.65 a gallon

New Hampshire's average price per gallon also remained the same as last week's price of $2.45. Vermont was the only northern New England state to show a decline, dropping to $2.61 a gallon, which is the same as the national average.
