Moose Hit by Two Vehicles; New Brunswick Man Killed in Collision

A 57-year old man was killed following a crash, Wednesday, on Chaplin Island Road in Wayerton, N.B.

The collision occurred around 6:00 a.m. when a moose was struck by a vehicle travelling in the southbound lane and thrown into the northbound lane.The man’s vehicle hit the moose and rolled over, said police.

He passed away at the scene as a result of his injuries. The driver who first collided with the moose was not injured.

There's no information on the moose. The investigation is ongoing.
