Messo Girls Win 11th Straight [HS SCORES]

The top ranked Messalonskee Eagles girl's basketball team showed again Friday why they are the team to beat in Class A North. A 56-41 win over #4 Hampden.

Freshman Gabrielle Wener hit five 3-pointers and totaled 19 points. Senior leader Sophia Holmes added 16 points, 11 in the second half.

The Eagles could not put the Broncos away until the final couple of minutes, in big part to a 16 point night for sophomore Bailey Donovan of Hampden.

The win puts Messalonskee at 11-0. The Broncos fall to 8-4.
