35-Year-Old Man Died after Fiery Crash in Maine

A 35-year-old man died early Sunday morning after a crash and car fire in Casco.

Died at Hospital with Serious Injuries

Nicolas Strout from Hiram was seriously injured and taken to Bridgton Hospital where he later died.

Crashed Around 1 AM

The crash happened around 1 am on State Park Road near the Casco and Naples town line.

Collided with Tree

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said Strout’s Jeep left the road and collided with a tree.

Vehicle On Fire

The vehicle then caught on fire and was engulfed in flames.

Speed and Alcohol Believed To Be Factors

Deputies said speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
