Man and Woman Charged with Murder after Shooting in Maine
A 45-year-old man and a 57-year-old were arrested and charged for a fatal shooting in Biddeford.
Man and Woman Arrested and Charged with Murder
Maine State Police said Garret Labonte and Linda Lambert, both from Biddeford, were taken into custody at 63 South Street on Monday.
Victim Died from Gunshots at the Scene
They were charged in the shooting death of 46-year-old Gene Dares from Biddeford on September 27. Dares was shot around 11 pm on Foss Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Death Ruled Homicide
The Chief Medical Examiner's Office ruled his death a homicide by gunshot wounds.
Two Suspects Charged with Murder
Labonte faces charges for Murder, Felony Murder and Robbery. Lambert was charged with Felony Murder and Robbery. They were both transported to the York County Jail.
