You Told Us the Must DO Winter Activities in Maine
As a transplant to Maine, I have fallen in love with the beauty of this state and the unique opportunities it offers. I have watched the landscape come to life during the spring while scaling cliffs overlooking the Gulf of Maine. I have whitewater rafted the rivers during the summer. I hiked to see the first sunrise in America and watched as the sun rose exposing all of the fall foliage.
Maine is truly special.
However, when I share my experiences and compliments of Maine, Mainers are quick to retort with "Just wait for winter" - lol.
Granted, it's usually in jest, but I would be lying if I didn't have a little anxiety over what to expect this winter. So, I asked Mainers - what are winter activities in Maine that I must do. In true Mainer fashion, they were more than willing to provide advice and how to make the 'cold months' memorable ones. Here are a few of the wonderful responses and suggestions.
