It's been more than 7 fantastic years for me here at Townsquare Media in Presque Isle, but it's time for me to shift gears and to say goodbye.

It's been a great run and I've learned so much and met so many wonderful people along the way. I'll be leaving behind my broadcast career soon to work closer to home and try something completely new and challenging in my professional life.

I started out my broadcast career more than 12 years ago working as a board op at WHOU in Houlton. I then attended the New England School of Communications in Bangor, graduating with a degree in Communications, specializing in radio broadcasting. While I was in college, I had the opportunity to do an internship at Cumulus Media. They eventually hired me on as a part time board op. Having grown up in the County, it was time to come home. I then served as Station Manager for WHOU for just over a year, before being hired here at the then Citadel Broadcasting in Presque Isle. I managed to survive two company mergers: from Citadel ,to Cumulus, to Townsquare.

I have worn many different hats here at the station and learned so much. I started out working in the Traffic Department and eventually moved full time to the Production Department. I have dabbled in many different things over the years, from promotions, news, live broadcasts and even some live events. I even got to do a remote live from a plane above Aroostook County one time! How cool is that? Having won a corporate challenge several years ago, I won trip to California to see a concert at a beautiful mountain-side venue in Los Angeles!

I've had a lot fun over the years and I will miss my Townsquare family immensely. They have taught me so much and been great mentors  along the way. I'll miss our clients and all of the memories we've made over the years.

It's not good bye forever; it's I'll see you later!
